AnswerRank is the AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) platform we wished existed: a deterministic, research-backed view of how ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini cite, mention and recommend your brand — and a prioritised checklist of fixes to win those citations back.
It's not ready for the open hose. So we're opening it in stages.
Why a waitlist
Two reasons.
1. We want to ship the version that actually wins citations, not the demo. The product already runs six PRD engines end-to-end against any domain — technical audit, multi-LLM prompt tracking, content X-Ray with the new Citation Readiness composite, GSC gap, source influence, sentiment. But the parts that turn that into outcomes — onboarding, automated competitor and prompt discovery, the "do these three things this week" prioritised plan — are landing now, and we'd rather let early users hit them with our hands on the steering wheel than 5,000 strangers on day one.
2. We're a small team and credits cost money. Every scan fans out across multiple AI engines. Free is one prompt × one engine × weekly. Pro is ten prompts × multiple engines × daily. Opening cold would be a bill we can't underwrite responsibly while the orchestrator is still being tuned.
The waitlist is the gentle release valve.
What's already shipped
- Technical & Entity Audit — per-AI-crawler robots.txt rules (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, CCBot…), llms.txt validation, JSON-LD entity extraction.
- Multi-LLM Prompt Tracking across ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
- Content X-Ray with Citation Readiness — a research-backed composite (answer-first, evidence, structure, freshness, retrievability) computed for your page and the competitor page the AI actually cited, with a per-signal breakdown and a prioritised, research-tied fix list. Density is demoted to one input — and its math is fixed: scoped to main content, length-normalised, no clamp saturation.
- GSC integration — OAuth, encrypted token storage, AI-Overview-inferred CTR gaps, weekly/daily cadence.
- Source Influence Map and Sentiment & Context per engine.
- Self-hosted scheduler (node-cron, not Vercel cron) — Pro weekly, Studio daily.
We dogfood the product on this very site. The page you're reading has structured data, a sitemap, an llms.txt, and a dynamic OG image — exactly the checks AnswerRank audits.
What's next, in order
- Public waitlist (you're here).
- Stripe billing live — Free $0, Pro $49/mo, Studio $199/mo, with monthly LLM credits and no usage gotchas.
- Onboarding polish — automatic competitor and money-prompt discovery, fewer questions, faster first scan.
- API access (Studio).
- White-label client reports (Studio).
- Off-page brand-mention collection — Reddit, YouTube, Wikipedia. The research is clear that off-page mentions are the strongest correlator with AI citations; right now we proxy this from existing citation authority, but the real signal lives off-site.
How to get in early
Join the waitlist on the home page. We're rolling early access in small batches; design partners who already obsess over how AI answers questions about their product get the first invites. If that's you, reply to your confirmation email and tell us what prompt is keeping you up at night.
Talk soon.
